craving: an affordable handbag

26 February 2015

Since an incident which occurred last week where a strap snapped clean off my everyday bag I've been more desperate for a new, pretty and functional handbag than ever. I'm looking for one that won't give way and that can take the heat so my instant thought was River Island and then of course ASOS.

To me an affordable handbag is under £100 (or under $150) and a good quality that will last. I carry a handbag every day as most women do and I tend to put a good amount of essentials in it because I'm wandering around so much so the quality and build of the bag is really important. Gone are the days where a big Primarni special sits on my shoulder day after day.

At the moment I'm drawn to the winged bags like the white piece from River Island or the larger navy bag and white one by Pauls Boutique. I also love more relaxed bags like the Carvela grey leather hobo bag and tan tote by Dune because they're easy to style with almost anything and can be stuffed with almost everything.. :)

The little white duffle bag is one that may be difficult to use as my every day because of the structure and size but I love it all the same and I could definitely find a summer lunch / shopping trip use for it!
