mid week craving: toasty warm hoodies

31 October 2012

I'm not sure if I mentioned yet, but i'm going to Colorado in the new year - which is going to be awesome and I really can't wait! - However, I suck at being cold. Really, I'm such a wimp! So in preparation for this trip and for the winter chill that seems to be getting colder by the day I've been looking about for nice, warm hoodies, jumpers and general warmth. Most of my attention has been towards hoodies and brands such as Jack Wills and Hollister because they are pretty good to look at as well as being functional - check out those sherpa linings! I've also found a few lovelies from Bench and Superdry that look as though they'd be pretty cosy.

Now I just need to decide which couple to get! Please cast your votes in a comment :)

mid week craving: boots boots boots

26 October 2012

I have a strong admiration for boots of all shapes and sizes, colours and embellishments. They are my go to shoe type for autumn, winter, spring and depending on the delights of british weather, summer too! Granted, the season effects the style of boot I wear. In summer for instance I only ever reach for ankle boots - They look so cute with bare legs and summer dresses or shorts :) In autumn the tall boys come out and i'm so lame when it comes to the cold that my sheepskin pair are bound to make a number of appearances too. However my ankle boots are still a staple and seeing as I have worn my existing pairs so much that they now let the water in, it's time for some new shoes. :D Who would argue with that?!

And so came about this very necessary craving.. Now, which boots to buy??
