outfit: red leather biker

If you follow me on instagram it will have been hard to miss this jacket over the past month. I'm absolutely in love with it. As soon as I put it on this awesome piece of clothing jumped straight to the top of my favourite things.

After publishing my biker jacket wishlist (here) I decided that I'd be going for a red piece and after much deliberation choosing between the red velvet, burgundy suede, red leather and deep red suede with fur I opted for the bright red leather jacket by Mango. I'm so glad I did because I honestly struggle to put it down. If I could get away with wearing this jacket every day then I absolutely would but it's such a statement piece that people always comment on it so I can't wear it constantly. The leather is stiff and sits perfectly while the stud details on the shoulders and front of the forearm finish it off making it more edgy and just perfect. The whole jacket is covered in zips with two on the back framing my body shape nicely making it pretty flattering as well as awesome.

The dress i'm wearing is a simple tshirt skater that I bought in California earlier this year. It's a nice light stretchy cotton that hangs well and the lace up detail on the chest gives it something a bit more than just a plain black dress. In the summer it looks great pair with some flip flops so I'm loving that I can wear it in these colder times too.
