experimenting with nails: watermelons

Regularly reading a number of nails focussed blogs has made me more and more curious about nail art and when I saw this post I just had to delve in and experiment. Polish and Powder's is a lot more precise and definitely better than mine! But this was my first time.. I actually did this a couple of weeks ago and have been pondering over whether to post my very first attempt at anything arty on my nails but why not. At least this way you'll be able to see an improvement! ..If any :P

My nail varnish collection is not a huge one and to be honest it's mainly Barry M including not many shimmers so I went out and purchased 2 colours to try this out. A Bongo Beat from Collection 200 Hot Looks, Rimmels 400 Starlet and used my Barry M grey for the seeds.

  2. That's brilliant nail art! Definitely easy to recreate as well, it would be cool to do it in different colours on each nail if your collection stretches that far!
